Crit Fitness Training Policies

Prior to your consultation session, you must fill out the intake questionnaire, located here.

  • Following the intake questionnaire and consultation, services may begin unless medical clearance is first deemed necessary.

Personal training sessions are 75 minutes long unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

As with any exercise program there are risks, including increased heart stress and the chance of musculoskeletal injuries. While undergoing personal training, you agree to assume responsibility for these risks and waive any possibility for personal damage. You also agree that, to your knowledge, you have no limiting physical conditions or disability that would preclude an exercise program.

It is the client’s responsibility to inform the trainer of any pain, injury, unusual discomfort or relevant health changes that occur before, between, or during a training session.

Both the trainer and client agree to create a physically, mentally, and emotionally safe environment within which training can occur, and to communicate with care and respect for one another.

  • Payment is due on or before the date of the session (before midnight the same calendar day).

Late payments may result in cancellation of future sessions until payment is remitted.

  • Sessions must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. There will be a cancellation fee of 50% of the session rate for cancellations within 24 hours, and 100% for no-shows.

For in-person sessions, cancellations within 60 minutes of the scheduled start time will be considered a no-show, and for virtual sessions there will be a 15-minute grace period. After that time if the trainer has not heard from the client it will be considered a no-show.

Excessive cancellations or no-shows will be grounds for termination of services.

If you are late arriving to a session, it will be shortened to fit within your allotted time. No refunds or discounts will be given.

  • All clients interested in "in person" training must first be fully vaccinated and boosted. If you are unable to get vaccinated, Zoom sessions are available.

If you have been exposed to someone infected with COVID, even if you have tested negative or have no symptoms, Zoom sessions will be provided for ten days from the time of exposure. The same is available for those who test positive but are asymptomatic.
